Mystery of Time & Trinity
A BRIEF GLIMPSE OF THE MYSTERY OF TIME . . .
TIME - Something We All Consciously Sense.
Yet only dimly perceive, and yet we find it really quite beyond words to describe; yes, utterly beyond words. One must almost be godlike to comprehend (much less adequately explain) Time and Eternity. But if for no other reason than for the sheer fascination of it all and likewise its challenge, we shall just take a little stab at it here and then humbly submit our observations and understandings...perhaps you will find an insight or two if you look closely . . .
One of the great sages of old put it this way: "Time is how God keeps things from happening all at once." I think he was right. Perhaps for GOD things (events) do happen all at once and "time" as we know it and experience it is only a complex, self-contained (tho largely unconscious) description of ultimate reality and ultimate meaning.
GOD (YHVH, The Eternal) IS, and Is transcendent: He encompasses Time but His Being, His Essence exists holy, WHOLLY beyond It in an unchanging matrix of Eternity: That is, His Being and Consciousness (Pure Knowledge or Ultimate Knowledge) is inclusive of All Past/Future things (events) in an Eternal Present Perfect.
In yet another manner of viewing it,ETERNALLY AND SIMULTANEOUSLY:
ALL THINGS ARE BEFORE HIS FACE.
GOD(Mind, yet more than Mind; Power, yet far more than Power) IS ALWAYS N O W : Here, There, Everywhere: Totally Sovereign, All-Knowing, All-Light, All-Love, Perfect Wisdom,
- ALL-ENCOMPASSING: ONE in unchanging, radiant Moral Perfection, and (right here is where things get very personal and serious): He holds our l "i" ttle w "i" ll accountable to HIM.
Just a little footnote to the above insights: "The Dance (in fact, CONFLICT) of Go*o*d VS evil", of Light VS darkness will end, NOT in some imaginary, nebulous "harmonic convergence" or "oneness" of resolved dualism, but it will end rather in"The Great Divorce," - a final separation:
to the left: darkness, the abyss, despair,- a total absence of GoOD, - full and final separation;
to the right: restoration to Perfection, Beauty, and Harmony within the marvelous confines of Divine Love.
And may I here say (and without apology) that I have found undeniably Y'shuah Messiah (insofar as DESTINY and CHOICES) to be at the very crossroads of Time and Eternity: A crystalized point wherein Time merges with Eternity in a Final Act of Sacrificial Love/Atonement/Redemption, whereby an ultimate Ransom is paid for otherwise hopelessly captive souls: The Creator swallowing up sin and death and hell, opening wide the Door to redemption and RESToration. - I am certain of this and also that Time will have an altogether new dimension and meaning.

from PaulfromNY:
I believe scripture shows two distinct persons in the Godhead = Father and Son. There is one life perfectly manifest in both = the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit may be used to refer to the person of either the Father or the Son, and thats where all the confusion comes from.
The communication of life(the Holy Spirit) from the Father to His Children is the Word. Apart from faith in the Son we grieve the Spirit/Word of GOD, and frustrate its intent to us. In Christ Jesus the Word/Spirit of GOD is incorruptibly received and eternally abiding.
We've all heard things like: "he has an angry spirit". Not that he is "the angry spirit", but that anger is identified with who he is. Well the Father and the Son are: the Holy Spirit, and those coming to the Father through the Son will eternally be filled with the Holy Spirit. Note that being filled with is not being the Holy Spirit.

A Biblical Defence of the Trinity
by Jonathan Sarfati
http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs/4222.asp
The doctrine of the Trinity is difficult for some people to understand. But this is what God has revealed in Scripture about His own Being, so we should believe it.
The doctrine of the Trinity states that in the unity of the Godhead there are three eternal and co-equal Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same in essence but distinct in role—three Persons (or three centres of consciousness) and one Being (see diagram, below) The different senses of one-ness and three-ness mean that the doctrine is not self-contradictory. This is similar in principle to saying that the navy, army, and airforce are three distinct fighting entities, but are also one armed service. NB: this is not to suggest that the three persons are ‘parts’ of God. Indeed, each Person has the fullness of the Godhead (see Colossians 2:9). A better analogy is that space contains three dimensions, yet the dimensions are not ‘parts’—the concept of ‘space’ is meaningless without all three dimensions.
Biblical derivation
All things necessary for our faith and life are either expressly set down in Scripture or may be deduced by good and necessary consequence from Scripture. Some cults, such as Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and groups known as ‘Oneness’, or ‘Jesus-only’ Pentecostals (not to be confused with mainstream Pentecostals who do believe in the Trinity), are fond of pointing out that the word ‘Trinity’ is not found in the Bible. But the doctrine can be logically proven from the following clear teachings of Scripture as follows:

There is only one God (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 44:8). Note that the Hebrew word for ‘one’ is echad which means composite unity—it is used in Genesis 2:24 where the husband and wife become ‘one flesh’. The word for absolute unity is yachid which is never used of God in the Scripture.
The Father is called God (John 6:27, Ephesians 4:6).
The Son is called God (Hebrews 1:8. He is also called ‘I am’ in John 8:58 cf. Ex. 3:14—see below for more biblical proof). He has always existed (John 1:1–3, 8:56–58), but took on full human nature in addition to His divine nature at the Incarnation (John 1:14, Philippians 2:5–11).
The Holy Spirit is called God (Acts 5:3–4), and is personal (Acts 13:2), not some impersonal force as the Jehovah’s Witness cult believes.
They are distinct, e.g. at the baptism of Jesus in Matthew 3:16–17 all three were present and distinct. The Son is baptized, the Father speaks from Heaven, and the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, flies down and lands on the Son. See the baptismal formula in Matthew 28:19 ‘baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.’ Note that the word ‘name’ is singular, showing that all three Persons are one Being.
The distinction in persons within the one God means that it is possible for Jesus to be the ‘one mediator between God and men’ (1 Timothy 2:5), and to be our ‘advocate with the Father’ (1 John 2:1) when we sin. An advocate is a defence lawyer, who pleads our case before a judge. This demonstrates a distinction between the persons.
The distinction makes the Substitutionary Atonement possible. How else could Jesus be the One on whom the LORD has ‘laid ... the iniquity of us all’ (Isaiah 53:6)? The one laying and the one on whom our sins are laid must be distinct.
Jesus said that His Father sent Him (John 14:24) and that the Spirit was sent by both the Father (John 14:26) and the Son (John 15:7). This also points to distinct centres of consciousness within the one God.
The fact that Jesus prayed to God the Father (John 17:1) shows there was a distinction between Father and Son. Since Jesus was fully human (as well as fully divine), and humans should pray, it follows that it was proper for Jesus to pray in His humanity.
Also, the deity of the Son, Jesus Christ, is further proved by the fact that He has attributes belonging uniquely to God, e.g.:
He is the Creator (Colossians 1:16–17).
He has the ability to forgive sins (Luke 7:47–50) and judge all people (John 5:27).
He sends forth the Holy Spirit (John 15:26).
He accepts worship (Hebrews 1:6, Matthew 14:33)
He is called ‘Lord’ (Romans 10:9) where ‘Lord’ (kurios) is a translation of the Old Testament Yahweh (= God) (Romans 10:13 cites Joel 2:32 which makes this clear)
And He is identified with the ‘Alpha and Omega’ and the equivalent ‘the first and the last’ (Revelation 1:8, 17–18, cf. Isaiah 44:6).
In the Old Testament, He is the Child who is called ‘Mighty God’ and ‘Everlasting Father’ (Hebrew is literally ‘Father of Eternity’, meaning ‘Author of Eternity’) (Isaiah 9:6, cf. 10:21) He would be born in Bethlehem, yet His ‘goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.’ (Micah 5:2)
Some Objections to the Trinity Answered
Despite the clear Biblical evidence for the Trinity, some cults have objections based on misunderstandings of Scripture.
Jesus said: ‘My Father is greater (meizon) than I’ (John 14:28). But this refers to the Father’s greater position in Heaven, not superior nature. Philippians 2:5–11 states that Jesus had equality by nature with God, but voluntarily took on the lower position of a servant. The same arguments apply to related passages about Jesus submitting to His Father’s will.
The word ‘better’ (kreitton) would have been used to describe superiority in nature if this is what had been meant. Indeed, kreittonis used to describe Jesus’ superiority in His very nature to the angels (Hebrews 1:4). The distinction can be illustrated in the human realm by the role of the Prime Minister—he is greater than us in position, but he is still a human being like us, so is notbetter in nature.
Jesus is called ‘the firstborn of every creature’ (Colossians 1:15). However, in Jewish imagery, ‘firstborn’ means ‘having the rights and special privileges belonging to the eldest child’. It refers to pre-eminence in rank more than to priority in time. This can be shown in passages where the term ‘firstborn’ is used of the pre-eminent son who was not the eldest, e.g. Psalm 89:27, where David is called ‘firstborn’ although he was actually the youngest son.
‘Firstborn’ does not mean ‘first created’; the Greek for the latter is protoktisis, while firstborn is prototokos. In fact, the verses after Colossians 1:15 show that Christ Himself is the creator of all things.
Jesus is Son of God. From this, some cults try to show that Jesus is somehow less than God. But in Jewish imagery, ‘the son of’ often meant ‘of the order of’ or ‘having the very nature of’. For example, ‘sons of the prophets’ meant ‘of the order of prophets’ (1 Kings 20:35); ‘sons of the singers’ meant ‘of the order of singers’ (Nehemiah 12:28). Jesus’ Jewish contemporaries understood that He was claiming to be God, which is why they wanted to kill him for blasphemy (John 19:7).
Jesus is the ‘only-begotten Son’ (John 3:16). The Greek word translated ‘only-begotten’ is monogenes, which means ‘unique, ‘one of a kind’. Jesus is the unique Son of God, because he is God by His very nature (see above). Believers in Him become ‘sons of God’ by adoption (Galatians 3:26–4:7).
This is shown in the human realm by Hebrews 11:17, where Isaac is called Abraham’s ‘only begotten son’. Abraham had other sons, but Isaac was the unique son of the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis chapters 15–18, 20), born when his parents were old.

The Sacred Mystery of the Trinity
Chapter 6 - The Handwriting of God
by Grant Jeffrey
Jesus Taught the Trinity
Consider the profound words of Jesus Christ that reveal His authoritative teaching about the triune nature of God, or the Trinity: "Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake . . . And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever" (John 14:11,16). In this one verse Jesus affirmed that He and the Father were one. At the same time, He identified himself and the Father as two distinct persons under the titles of His own name and that of "the Father." Then Jesus promised His Church that the Father would answer the prayer of Jesus and send "another Comforter," referring to the Holy Spirit, as the third person in the Triune God. A careful examination of these words of Jesus reveal clearly that He taught the unity of God expressed in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Comforter (the Holy Spirit).
The word "Trinity" comes from the Latin word trinitas, or the word trinitus, which means "three in one" or "threefold." This word expresses the clear teaching of the Church on the profound biblical doctrine of the nature of God, as revealed in the Scriptures, as a Trinity in unity.
The Unity and Attributes of God
The Bible teaches repeatedly that there is only one God. Numerous examples from the Scriptures could be sighted, but these few verses will suffice to prove the truth of this important doctrine. Moses, the great lawgiver of the Jews, declared, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me" (Exodus 20:3). Moses also declared the unity of God in the famous words of the "Shema," the daily affirmation of righteous Jews throughout the world for thousands of years: "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord" (Deuteronomy 6:4). However, there is a mystery found in the Hebrew words of this declaration that we will study more deeply later in this chapter. The prophet Isaiah also declared the unity of God in his prophetic words, "I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images" (Isaiah 42:8). Isaiah also wrote of God in the following words: "To whom will ye liken me, and make me equal, and compare me, that we may be like?" (Isaiah 46:5). The prophet Malachi wrote of one God when he said, "Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us?" (Malachi 2:10).
One of the most important attributes of God is that He is both eternal and uncreated. In other words, there was never a time when God did not exist. Therefore, God has no beginning and no ending. The Scriptures reveal the eternal nature of God in numerous passages, including the words of King David in the Psalms: "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God" (Psalms 90:2). Jesus Christ confirmed His eternal nature in these words: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:58). Furthermore, the Bible teaches us that God is omnipresent, which means that He is simultaneously everywhere throughout His creation, not only in awareness but in His actual divine presence. This omnipresence of God was alluded to by King Solomon, as recorded in the book of Kings at the building of the Temple: "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?" (1 Kings 8:27). The Scriptures also declare that God is unchangeable, that His nature will remain the same forever. The prophet Malachi wrote, "For I am the Lord, I change not" (Malachi 3:6). This inspired declaration by Malachi confirms that God's nature, as expressed in the Trinity in unity, did not change when the Son incarnated in the body of the Christ child, Jesus of Nazareth, 2000 years ago. In other words, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have always existed as the Trinity.
The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit Are Called God
Now that we have examined the passages that affirm there is only one God, we need to explore the other passages of Scripture that also teach us clearly that God the Father, God the Son, Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit are all identified and named as God. Paul wrote the following letter referring to both the Father and Jesus as God: "To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord" (2 Timothy 1:2). Paul again affirms that both are God in his letter to the Church at Philippi: "And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:11). In the Gospel of John we find a clear declaration by the beloved disciple, John, that both Jesus and the Father are God. "No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him" (John 1:18).
Jesus, the Son of God, Created the Universe
However, while John reveals that Jesus and the Father are both God, he also reveals that it was Jesus, the Son of God, as the Word (Logos) of God, who created the entire universe and everything within it. I am constantly surprised to find that many Christians have assumed that God the Father created everything. However, a careful examination of the Scriptures reveals that the act of creation was committed to Jesus, the Son of God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made" (John 1:13). This teaching is confirmed by the letter Paul wrote to the Ephesians Church: "And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ" (Ephesians 3:9). The Psalmist David alludes to the fact that the Son is the One who created all things by identifying the Creator as "the Word of the Lord." Later in this chapter we will examine the scriptural evidence that "the Word of the Lord" is often used as an Old Testament title for the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity. David declares, "By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth" (Psalms 33:6).
The Bible continually refers to the Holy Spirit as a distinct person of the Godhead who teaches, acts, witnesses about Christ, and dwells within the spirit of the believer as the Spirit of God. At the end of His earthly ministry, Jesus Christ promised His disciples that He would send them "a Comforter" to guide and direct them after He ascended to heaven. "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you" (John 14:1617). This passage reveals the three divine persons of the Trinity. However, this verse also clearly identifies the Holy Spirit as the person of God the Comforter, who will indwell the believers. King David also wrote about the divine Holy Spirit as a separate person of the Trinity when he appealed to God (the Father) in the following words: "Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me" (Psalms 51:11). Additionally, in the New Testament, Jesus identified the Holy Spirit as both God and as a distinct person of the Trinity. Jesus taught about the Holy Spirit as God in His conclusion to the Lords Prayer, which was addressed to "Our Father." Jesus taught, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:13). These Scriptures obviously teach the threefold nature of God as we describe it under the word "Trinity."
The Bible Teaches the Trinity
We have examined the scriptural teaching that there is only one God. In addition, we have examined the Scriptures that teach that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are three distinct persons of the Godhead. We now need to look at the Scriptures that reveal the three persons as one God. One of the most significant passages revealing this teaching about the Trinity is found at the beginning of the ministry of Jesus when John baptized our Lord. The Gospel of Matthew records, "And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (Matthew 3:1617). In this well-loved passage we observe Jesus, the Son of God, being baptized by John and the Holy Spirit of God descending upon Him. Simultaneously, God the Father speaks from heaven saying, "This is my beloved Son."
This critical passage clearly reveals the three distinct persons of the Trinity acting as individual persons, yet in perfect harmony as the Trinity of God. It is significant that at the end of His ministry on earth, Jesus Christ instructed His disciples by giving them His Great Commission: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19). Since baptism is the most profound profession of faith, devotion, and worship, which is due only to God, the words of Jesus confirm that "the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost" are equally God, as taught in the biblical doctrine of the Trinity. This teaching of the Trinity also appears in the final benediction, in which the apostle Paul concludes his second inspired letter to the church at Corinth. Paul gave them his blessings in the names of the three persons of God, as revealed in the Trinity, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen" (2 Corinthians 13:14).
The Trinity As Taught in the Old Testament
The unusual language used by Moses in the first verses of the book of Genesis presents a great mystery regarding the nature of God and His creation of this universe and mankind. The first verse of the Bible records the creation of the heavens and the earth by God. However, the inspired writer used the word Elohim Myhla "Gods," which is the plural name for God, rather than the singular name Jehovah hwhy "God." It is fascinating to note that Moses uses this plural name for "God" Elohim Myhla more than five hundred times in the first five books of the Bible. The mystery is that the plural name of God Elohim appears with a singular verb each time. The normal laws of grammar demand that the plural form of the noun must agree with the plural form of the verb. However, throughout the Scriptures, we find that the plural noun for God Elohim appears invariably with the singular form of the verb, such as we find in the first verse of Genesis. Here the singular verb "created" arb bara occurs with the plural noun Elohim Myhla in Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." The Hebrew Scriptures record this passage as follows [reading from right to left in the Hebrew]:
"the heavens and the earth." "Elohim (Gods)" "created" "In the beginning"
Urah taw Mymvh ta Myhla arb tyvarb
[plural noun for Gods] [singular verb]
There is only one logical solution to this problem. If there is no grammatical agreement between the plural noun Elohim and the singular verb "created," then there must be an overriding logical agreement that demands the unusual grammatical construction found in these sentences. The logical agreement is that the word Elohim clearly reveals the sacred mystery of the nature of God as a Trinity. In other words, Genesis 1:1 reveals this declaration: "In the beginning the Trinity (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) created the heavens and the earth."

A beautiful and powerful insight ON THE REALITY behind mercy, ...
My faith and understanding is this: Yahweh (or perhaps more accurately, YaHOVaH-YaH ha VaH), blessed be His Name forever, will have the Last Word on every matter, great or small, - and this especially in His supreme concerns of moral truth and right relationships. - This, my dear friend, is precisely why He is to be honored (and most certainly DESERVES) to be loved, reveranced, feared, and obeyed. - The foolish (and the self-absorbed) will find all this contemptible and unnecessary; the wise know that GOD IS REAL and so act accordingly.
The one the Gentiles call "Christ," - the Messiah, the Promised One, - Yahvahshuah Ben-YaHaVaH, - Is THE KEY that unlocks the meaning and purposes of everything. Literally EVERYTHING. He is, you will find, the only true Savior and Deliverer: The grace and wisdom and righteousness of God made manifest to fallen, sinful, confused Mankind. HE IS, in His Eternal Essence, THAT which "upholds all things...and BY WHICH all things do consist." The Eternal Word, The Eternal Son, The Eternal ONE.
I urge you to meditate on these truths for they are of great benefit to those who do not simply wave them aside for the superfical and mostly egocentric 'tyrannies of time'.

More revelations & insight on the mystery of Time & Eternity:
Time and Eternity—What Do We Really Know About Them?
TIME seems to be one of the most mysterious forms of human experience,” states one encyclopedia. Yes, to define time in simple terms is nearly impossible. We may say that time “elapses,” “goes,” “flies,” and even that we ourselves are moving in “the stream of time.” But we really do not know what we are talking about.
Time has been defined as the “distance between two events.” Yet, our experience seems to tell us that time is independent of events; it appears to go on whether something happens or not. One philosopher claims that time actually does not exist but is simply something imagined. Can that on which so much of our experience is built be merely a figment of our imagination?
The Bible’s View of Time:
The Bible does not give any definition of time, suggesting that it is perhaps beyond
Man’s ability to understand fully. It is like the endless expanse of space, which we also find difficult to comprehend. Time, apparently, is one of those things that only God can fully understand, for He alone is “from time indefinite to time indefinite.”—Psalm 90:2.
Even though the Bible does not define time, it does speak of time as a reality.
To start with, the Bible tells us that God created the “luminaries”—the sun, moon, and stars—as time markers, to “serve as signs and for seasons and for days and years.”
Many events recorded in the Bible are firmly placed in the stream of time. (Genesis 1:14; 5:3-32; 7:11, 12; 11:10-32; Exodus 12:40, 41) The Bible also speaks of time as something that we should use wisely in order to be in line for God’s blessing for an eternity of time—the prospect of living forever.—Ephesians 5:15, 16
God is as “Being Timeless” in that there is no beginning and there will be no end of succession of moments within His Being and "Aliveness" and "Awareness". That Being will continue forever without end and (in that sense) Being timeless.
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour. ~ William Blake

Here are my thoughts about the gospel:
* God cannot love me more and He will not love me less.
* God's love is pure, and not a bargaining chip to get something from me nor a reaction to my loveliness.
* Surrender is all or nothing. We don't amputate areas of our life progressively, but willingly give it entirely this moment.
* Faith doesn't produce anything; faith receives with gratefulness.
* "Thank you," is the language of faith. "Please" is the language of mistrust/doubt.
* To be filled, all I can do is show up - empty. ... and that is where our work ends and His begins.
* In relation to salvation and God's Love & Grace: Whenever I work for something, then I prove by my efforts that I don't think that I have what I am working for.
* I can never need more than God's grace, and I've never been forced to get by with less.
* I don't have what you need, but I can show you and point you to Jesus and He has all that you need. HE IS EL Shaddai, "The All-Sufficient One."
* Truth is unavoidable. I can either accept it or ultimately prove it via the working out of its Reality.
* If I set out to break the law, [or continue to break Moral Law] it is a matter of time before I utterly break myself against it.
* God does not consider me by my deeds, but by my heart.
* Behavior does not equal motive, and temptation does not equal sin.
* God's discipline is never satisfied with a change of behavior, rather His discipline is designed to deal with inner wickedness that led to the behavior.
* What wickedness I can see in me (and despise,) I am able to see in others (without disdain.)
* I am under-qualified to be my own Holy Spirit, much less anybody else's Holy Spirit.
* The Christian life is simple: It is Someone living in someone who is really nothing without that Someone Who Is the very Life of the Holy Spirit of Christ.
* Jesus is not the answer; He is the Way - and every other way is not the way.
* The deepest spiritual life is for the poorest person - the person that says, "I can't."
* God's commands are powerless to be lived apart from The command Giver.
* Christ has become my life and what is true about Him is true about me.
* Legalism states that obedience equals acceptance, but acceptance is only found in Christ's life, which springs forth in perfect obedience.
* The only way to depart from Jesus is sadly and very very foolishly.
* We loose our self-life to gain new Life for ourselves and others.
* We don't lose abundance when we move from a teaching or doctrine, but we lose an abundant life when we move away from Jesus.
* The greatest struggle (in many ways) is to struggle not to struggle.
* No matter what anyone does to me, I have no excuse to be offended.
* Sin sends nobody to hell; pride does.
* Faith says rest.
* There is no one-time fix, but a moment by moment walk.
* God will never prepare me to overcome the worst, but Jesus has already seen the worst and overcame it totally ... and thus His overcoming life is my only preparation to do the same.
* To be in Christ is normal (and fit for eternity,) and to be otherwise is to only remain natural (and decaying.)
* God does not send situations to me so that I can fix them, but He permits pressure for me so that I'll be fixed when I dependently find Him bigger than the problem.
* Salvation is not a clean and dirty issue. It is a Life and death issue.
* Nobody in hell has eternal anything. - they have no Life and no Light whatsoever.
* I have lots of friends, but their's is nothing compared to the friendship of the Lord Jesus Christ - Yahushua HaMashiach !
There is only one Gospel. But to as many as have allowed it to transform them, there are just as many different ways that Gospel is worked out within them and through them. Your gospel is the way that The Gospel has worked out in your life-experience, and it is not the exact same as my gospel or my story. - it is wise to remember that.

=======================
We can surely ALL benefit from these thoughts & suggestions. ... pass it on.
and some final thoughts...
1) Life has three rules: paradox, humor, ... and change.
* Paradox: Life is a mystery; don't waste your time trying to figure it all out.
* Humor: Keep a sense of humor, especially about yourself. it can be a life-saver.
* Change: Know that nothing ever stays the same in the mortal, earthly life.
2) There is never nothing going on. There are no ordinary moments.
3) When you feel fear: use the sword: take it up here & now and cut the mind loose
of all regrets, fears, or anything else that lives in the past or the future.
4) Regularly 'take out the trash' of any garbage left in your head.
5) A true warrior is not about perfection or victory or invulnerability. He's about absolute
vulnerability. THAT is the only true courage.
6) There is no starting or stopping, - only doing.
7) There is no greater purpose than honest & selfless service to others.
8) Everyone wants to 'tell you what to do' and 'what's good for you'. They don't want you
to find your own answers, they want you to believe theirs.
9) It is wise to stop gathering information from the outside, ... and start gathering it
from the inside.
10) People are not their thoughts; they often think they are, but it brings them all kinds
of sadness and conflict.
11) Death isn't sad. The really sad thing is: most people never truly live.
12) Knowledge is knowing; Wisdom is doing the right thing at the right time in the right
way ... and for the right reasons.
13) Where are you? Here. What time is it? NOW. Who are you? This moment: the sum of
my choices & aspirations.
14) Your eternal destination is very important, supremely so. But it is the Journey that determines
the outcome, ... and it is meant to be an adventure.
15) A warrior acts & responds thoughtfully; the fool "reacts".
16) If you don't get what you want: you suffer. And even when you get exactly what you
want: you still suffer because you can't hold on to it forever.
17) "The room for improvement" will always be found to be the largest room in your house.
18) Habit is often 'the problem'. What you need to do is to be conscious of your choices
and be responsible for your actions, your thoughts, your words.
19) Every action has its price and its pleasure or pain for self or for others. Recognizing both
sides of this coin: the warrior becomes realistic & responsible for his actions.
20) Always remember that those who are hardest to love are usually the ones who need love
the most.
And one last thought: things (and people) are rarely
* what they appear to be * on the surface.
Learn to be discerning. Ask GOD for insight & understanding.
